Special Mother's Day Message - As parents, it is our responsibility to raise our children and to show them the correct direction. Psalm 127 tells us "children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them...". Like an arrow drawn back, we should aim them in the right direction, whether we are parents now, or soon to be.

Sinners - we have many names for them, but to the world, they have been deemed "unclean". In Luke 7, we read about Jesus, Simon the Pharisee, and a sinful woman, and how it wasn't about her sin, but about her love. And through the parable of the money lender, Jesus teaches us a lesson that we all need spoken into our life.

    Receiving the Word
In Luke 8, Jesus teaches us from the "Parable of the Sower". Sometimes the Word is sown on rocky ground, other times on ground overrun with thorns. There are times however, the Word takes root in fertile ground. Is your ground rocky or maybe laden with thorns? Or is it fertile soil, prepped for God's Word to spring forth like a seedling does in Spring?

    Faith…
    Faith...

What is faith? Is it allegiance? Trust? Belief? Yes, faith can be all of these. Faith can also be described as the willingness to step out and allow God to work in your life, even though we may not see the outcome. The writer of the book of Hebrews tells us in Hebrews Chapter 11 verse 1 that "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

In the American list of commercialized holidays, Easter may be a time of candy and egg hunts, but to the born again believer in Christ, the true meaning begins at the cross, and ends with the empty tomb and our risen Savior!

Communion. Within Christianity, this one word sparks vivid images of not only times we have experienced during worship, but also those of Palm Sunday, the last supper, the upper room, and the time that lead up to the Cross of Calvary.
Join us as we take a look at the twenty second chapter of Luke, in this message from Brother Jim Gifford about the Last Supper, commonly referred to as the Seder, in this week's message, "Given For You".

    Correction towards

Oftentimes, intelligence can be confused with wisdom. If we are to be wise, will we trust in our own intelligence, or will we receive God's wisdom that leads us into genuine repentance?

    Singing in the rain

We all have trials and tribulations in life, and just like a rainy day, they can sometimes get us down. Do you let them get you down, or do you allow the love of God to cause you to be the one who is Singing in the Rain?

    Good Relationships and Bad Partnerships
Good relationships and bad partnerships make up our lives. Scripture tells us to not be unequally yoked to unbelievers, and that we should have our hearts open to allow the Gospel to shine. Having your heart open in the good relationships are easy...but what should we do about the bad?
