Rekindling the Fire in Your Life

"Remember when..." is a great way to start off a conversation with an old friend. Whether it is a ball game, or maybe the first time you saw your·spouse. Whatever that is, there is just something about rekindling old memories. The joy and excitement that comes with those can sometimes even bring a tear to your eye. In Revelation 2 and 3, Jesus, in a round about way, asks the question "Remember when..." when mentioning to the church at Ephesus that they had lost their first love. This is a lesson for us today, in order for us to rekindle old memories, and return to our first love.

Join us in this third and final message from Dr. Scott Wigginton, as he shows us how "Rekindling the Fire in Your Life" will lead you straight back to Jesus.

Spiritual Building Blocks for Healthy Families

Building healthy families can be challenging, especially in today's world of "how-to's" and self-help books. Among all of the advice, the Bible is the only self-help book you need. By following the tenets in it, one can glean several key points on how to lay the spiritual foundation that will strengthen your family.

Healthy Families in a Digital Age

In an electronic world, how are we to raise our families? With social media, and resources like Youtube, Wikipedia, and Skype, the good that can come from the internet is almost limitless. However, with great resources, come great risks for abuse as well. As adults, we should follow rules on how to be a part of and raise healthy families.

Join us as Dr. Scott Wigginton and his wife Elizabeth bring us some guidelines on how to raise "Heathly Families in a Digital Age".

    Homecoming - 140 years proclaiming God's Word

Special Homecoming Message - As a believer in Christ, He should be our focus. We are also to run with endurance the race set before us (Hebrews 12:1). In Mark, we learn of a paralytic and his friends who ran the race. They lowered him down to Jesus and were willing to do whatever it takes for their friend's forgiveness. We should also be willing to do whatever it takes to lead others - strangers, family and friends - to Him as well.

    Let Freedom Ring

Special Independence Day message - In the US, we have freedoms like no other country has in history. Some of these have gave us liberty, while others cause bondage as well as blindness to the truth. What is that truth? That we are to fight the good fight - fight for truth. When we do so, the truth of Jesus will shine forth, and others can find the same liberty that believers in Christ enjoy every day.

    Like A Child

In Mark chapter 9, Jesus uses children as an example to teach a lesson. This lesson, can be easily applied to those of us in today's world. We must be watchful of what we do, where we go, and what we see. When we watch our actions, we ensure that the children around us do not follow in our bad decisions. How to we do that? Jesus explains to us that we are to have salt in ourselves, and have peace with one another.

    What’s In A Name?
    whats in a name

What's in a name? In the American culture, a name can have one (or more) of several ties, whether it is a name that hold ancestral significance (being named after someone), historical ties (last names like Franklin, Washington, Lincoln), even Biblical focus (like David, Jacob, Noah, or Paul). In Exodus, God tells us his name - I Am. But what does God's name mean, and how can this meaning allow us to understand Him more?

Join along with us as our guest speaker, Joe Hussung unpacks this theological principle for us in this message titled "What's In A Name?"

    Who is your center?
    who is your center

As a Christian, our lives can get a little crazy. Like a car swerving from ditch to ditch, we sometimes lose focus and may even wreck our lives when we lose our center. It may be that we shift the center of our lives to our career, education, kids, or family, but the Bible has a different plan with specific directions for us - keep Jesus as our center. Only by doing this, can we be the child of God that He would have us be: one that is loving, kind, and one whom brings glory and praise to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Christ Jesus.

    Faith…
    Faith...

What is faith? Is it allegiance? Trust? Belief? Yes, faith can be all of these. Faith can also be described as the willingness to step out and allow God to work in your life, even though we may not see the outcome. The writer of the book of Hebrews tells us in Hebrews Chapter 11 verse 1 that "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
